IDS Offshore produces unique solutions for the marine industry with a preference to safety, environmental response and monitoring.

We are currently developing two types of unmanned surface vessel: a high-power, large capacity vessel for rapid, hazardous environmental response; and a small, portable vessel for environmental monitoring and inspection.

Unmanned vessels can be configured to operate by remote control, with most actions being directed by an operator, or autonomously, with most or all actions being initiated by on?board computers. A primary motivation for developing this type of technology is to prevent people from having to face unnecessary risk; other practical and economic factors follow.
